The members of the Chamber of Engineers elected a new council during the Annual General Meeting held, at the Professional Centre in Gzira, on Thursday 25th February 2010.
In 2010, Inġ. Saviour Baldacchino will be succeeding Inġ. Helga Pizzuto in the role of president of the chamber after serving as vice-president throughout the past twelve months. Inġ. Ray Muscat and engineering graduate Paul Refalo were newly elected to council.

Building on past achievements the new council is determined to work towards a number of very clear strategic objectives in accordance with the Chamber’s mission to promote the engineering profession in Malta and to support the local engineering community with concrete initiatives and activities.
With well over 400 members the Chamber of Engineers is the professional body representing the interests of the engineers in Malta. The chamber regularly organizes seminars, conferences, training, site visits to the local industry and a number of socials which ensure the right networking opportunities. Through its efforts and supplemented by its publication ‘Engineering Today’ the chamber keeps its members up to date with all aspects related to their profession.
