|Malta Engineering Excellence Awards 2011|
The Chamber of Engineers is proud to announce the launch of the 10th edition of the Malta Engineering Excellence Awards. The nominations for 2011 are now open.
These awards are the Chamber’s opportunity to recognise engineering excellence in the areas of innovation and leadership and to recognise those who throughout their career have contributed significantly to the development of engineering in Malta.
We are pleased to note that over these past years the number of nominations received has been on the increase. We are confident that the awards have served to encourage individuals and organisations to strive for excellence and to make the attainment of one of these awards their goal. This augurs well for the profession and we look forward to a good number of nominations this year.
This year’s awards will be presented during the Chamber’s Annual Reception on 7th December at St John's Cavalier, Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order of St John in Ordinance Street, Valletta. The event will be held under the Distinguished Patronage of H.E. Dr. George Abela, President of Malta. A formal invitation will be issued to paid up members in due time. As with previous years this ceremony will serve to showcase the capabilities of the engineering community.
We invite all our members to participate in the process by nominating individuals and/or organisations that deserve recognition for the accomplishments they have achieved in the field of engineering.
An informative leaflet on the awards can be found here.
The nomination form can be found here.
The closing date for submission of nominations is 22nd November 2011.
