As previously announced, the Annual General Meeting of the Chamber of Engineers will be held on Friday  27th February 2009 at the Professional Centre, Sliema Road, Gzira at 6pm.

The submission period for nominations for election to the Council of the Chamber of Engineers for the years 2009/10 ended on January 30th 2009. Ing. Saviour Baldacchino, Ing. Pierre Cassar, Ing. Joseph Degabriele, Mr. Matthew Galea, Prof. Dr. Ing. Paul Micallef, Ing. Antoine Sciberras and Ing. Simon Scicluna have submitted their nominations.

Whereas all members of the Chamber are entitled to participate on all proceedings at the General Meetings of the Chamber, only Warranted and Graduate Members are entitled to vote. Kindly note that no warranted or graduate member shall be entitled to vote if his membership subscription is in arrears.

Membership payments will be accepted before the meeting.

The meeting will start at 18:00 and the agenda will include the following items:
1.    Reading and approval of minutes
2.    Matters arising
3.    Correspondence
4.    President’s address
5.    Treasurer’s report
6.    Motions
7.    Election of Council members
8.    Election of Auditors
9.    Other matters
