The Chamber of Engineers is proud to present the 31st Edition of the Annual Engineering Conference, with the theme Engineering | Sustaining Tomorrow’s Healthcare. The conference will take place at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Floriana on Wednesday, 8th May 2024
Engineering | Sustaining Tomorrow’s Healthcare will offer the engineering community, stakeholders, and collaborators an opportunity to discuss and share knowledge on the various roles that engineers play in enhancing healthcare and in sustaining and improving quality of life through the vital intersection between engineering and healthcare. The first part of the conference will showcase several R&I engineering projects within the biomedical realm; the second part will explore the niche roles that engineers hold within the healthcare industry and why engineers are critical for healthcare facilities; and the final session will discuss the challenges and opportunities in the Maltese manufacturing sector of medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
Additionally, the conference will include coffee and lunch breaks for ample networking time between conference delegates.
