Biography
Jason Gauci received his B.Elec.Eng.(Hons) degree in engineering from the University of Malta in 2005 and his PhD in aerospace from Cranfield University in 2010. He is currently a senior lecturer at the Institute of Aerospace Technologies at the University of Malta and an adjunct assistant professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Worldwide). His research interests include: avionics, air traffic management, unmanned systems, and machine learning for aviation applications. He has been - and is currently involved - in several national and EU-funded research projects and is the holder of a number of patents.
