Biography
Kenneth Camilleri is a Professor at the University of Malta. He graduated in electrical engineering in 1991 focusing mainly on electronics, computer engineering and signal processing, further specialising in machine learning, computer vision and image processing at M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels. Professor Camilleri worked on optimisation methods, video-based eye gaze tracking, electrophysiological signal analysis, such as electrooculogram and electroencephalogram signal analysis, brain-computer interfacing, and biomedical signal and image analysis for physiological measurement and the extraction of disease biomarkers, among others, and he regularly evaluates research proposals for the European Commission and for European national agencies.
