Biography

Dr Inġ. Darren Mifsud is a professional engineer and academic specialising in fluid mechanics, process systems, and flow assurance engineering, with particular focus on renewable energy technologies including carbon capture. He is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at MCAST’s Institute of Mechanical Engineering, and a Visiting Lecturer and Researcher at Cranfield University, UK.
Besides academia, Dr Inġ. Mifsud serves as an independent engineering consultant on several international projects, mainly projects driven by US based companies in the East Arabian Peninsula, focusing primarily on EOR and IOR.
Locally, Dr Inġ Mifsud is a certified energy auditor, court expert and EPC assessor.
