Izaak Scicluna grew up in a strong educational environment and guided closely by his parents, particularly his mother, who is a teacher. Through this upbringing, he developed effective study habits, confidence in his abilities, and a strong belief in the value of hard work. Early on, he believed he could achieve his goals independently. During his time in sixth form, involvement in extracurricular activities transformed his perspective. He came to understand the importance of collaboration and discovered a strong passion for activism and leadership. He is currently privileged to lead a team of youth volunteers
advocating for entrepreneurial skills and to have served on UESA’s executive team over the past year.

Izaak hopes to bring the experience gained from these roles to the position of Student Representative for the Chamber of Engineers. He firmly believes that the engineering profession depends not only on technical expertise, but also on strong communication, networking, and collaboration. Through this role, he aims to act as an effective link between the student body and the Chamber of Engineers, contributing actively to the development and strengthening of the profession.
