Biography
Prof. Ing. Daniel Micallef is an Associate Professor at the University of Malta, specializing in wind energy, fluid mechanics, wind engineering, and building physics. He earned his Ph.D. from Delft University of Technology in 2012, focusing on wind turbine blade aerodynamics. Daniel has worked as a post-doctoral researcher and energy analyst and is currently Head of the Department of Environmental Design. He has published widely, held editorial roles in academic journals, and served as President of the Chamber of Engineers of Malta. He also leads and secures funding for local and European research projects.
