Biography
Prof. Ing. Paul Refalo, a warranted mechanical engineer, is an Associate Professor with the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Malta and affiliated with the Institute for Sustainable Energy. His research covers sustainable engineering and resource efficiency in industry. He has led and participated in several funded research projects, and supervised various BEng, MSc, and PhD studies. His research is widely published in international journals and conferences.
Paul graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2007 and obtained his PhD on Solar Desalination in 2015. He is a registered Energy Auditor and Energy Performance of Buildings Assessor.
