On 21st June, the Chamber of Engineers (CoE) continued with its active outreach towards the industry with a visit to Simonds Farsons Cisk hosted by Inġ. Joseph Camilleri – Head of Human Resources, Tonio Mifsud Bonnici – Group HR Business Partner, Mr Alex Meilak – Operations Manager Brewing, Inġ. Etienne Spiteri – Technical Services Manager, Inġ. Godwin Cutajar Kinsella – PET Packaging Manager and Mr Anthony Micallef – Beer Packaging Manager. The Chamber was represented by Inġ. Malcolm Zammit – President, Inġ. David Scicluna Giusti – Activities Secretary and Inġ. Alex Tanti – Funding Secretary.

The Farsons representatives provided the CoE delegation with a comprehensive site tour covering the brewing process and the packaging processes of beers and soft drinks. The engineers, technicians and team members behind such processes ensure that Simonds Farsons Cisk delivers the beverage products most frequently encountered in our homes and daily lives.

The Chamber highlighted its vision to be closer to industry and the importance of membership of engineers and technicians within the Chamber to ensure a stronger profession which is more representative of the varied sectors within industry.
