Chamber of Engineers visits QP

On 11th July 2024, the Chamber of Engineers visited the design, engineering and management firm QP as part of its outreach initiative towards industry. The Chamber’s President Inġ. Malcolm Zammit and Secretary General Dr Inġ. Bonnie Attard held a meeting with Mr Reuben Xuereb – QP CEO, Inġ. Kenneth Fonk – QP Senior Partner | Building Services Engineering, Ms Alexia Sladden – QP Partner | Interior Design Architect and Perit Jean Paul Vella – QP Associate | Civil & Structural Engineering.
During this visit, QP highlighted their vision for excellence in the construction sector and unveiled their advanced plans to spearhead exciting initiatives to drive quality in the local construction scene, to which the Chamber of Engineers has committed its assistance as a supporting organisation.
QP explained its business operation as an integrated design, engineering and management environment which delivers on increasingly complex projects while leveraging collaboration, creativity and innovation. QP also underlined the key roles of engineers in their operations and the opportunities for such professionals to work challenging and interesting projects both locally and internationally.
The Chamber of Engineers stated its ongoing efforts for the engineering community and further explained its mission to build bridges with forward-looking private companies who promote industrial excellence and value engineering professionals. Chamber of Engineers and QP discussed possible areas of collaboration, including initiatives in research and development, industry recognition, collaboration, and beyond.
