Engineering Excellence celebrated at the Chamber of Engineers’ Malta Engineering Excellence Awards 2025

The 24th edition of the Malta Engineering Excellence Awards (MEEAs) was held on the 27th of November 2025 at the historic Casino Maltese. This prestigious event was co-organised by the Chamber of Engineers (CoE) together with the Energy & Water Agency and held under the distinguished patronage of Her Excellency, Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta. The Awards were generously supported by Schneider Electric and ESS, who made the evening possible.

This year’s MEEAs continued to reflect the strong momentum within the engineering profession, marked by an excellent turnout and a record number of submissions across all award categories. This level of engagement is a clear testament to the outstanding work being carried out locally across diverse engineering disciplines, and a powerful indication that innovation, creativity, and engineering excellence are thriving in Malta.

The ceremony was hosted by Keith Demicoli and opened with an address by the President of the Chamber of Engineers, Dr Inġ. Bonnie Attard. In her speech, she reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to fostering innovation and strengthening the role of engineers as key drivers of Malta’s future. She emphasised the importance of collaboration between industry, academia, and policymakers to ensure engineering continues to propel sustainable growth and societal progress, while also underscoring the need to recognise and celebrate the remarkable contributions of engineers in the field.
