AI for Engineers

The Chamber of Engineers is holding an introductory, in-person training session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Engineers, aimed at building awareness and practical confidence in AI without requiring prior technical expertise. Taking place on Thursday, 19th February 2026 (17:30), this focused 3-hour session introduces core AI concepts and explores how AI and generative tools can support everyday engineering tasks. Through interactive discussion and live demonstrations, participants will gain practical insights into AI applications, basic prompt writing, and informed decision-making around AI adoption, limitations, and ethics in engineering practice.

    Trainer

    The training will be delivered by Dr Graziella De Martino, Director of Technology Advisory at NOUV, with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven transformation across academia and industry. Dr De Martino has taught AI-related subjects at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level and has led advisory work on responsible and strategic AI adoption.
