On the 13th February the Chamber of Engineers conducted a visit to ProMinent Fluid Controls Ltd, the Malta‑based subsidiary of the global ProMinent Group, renowned worldwide for its dosing pumps, chemical‑feed systems, and advanced water‑treatment and disinfection technologies. During the visit, Managing Director Dr Inġ. Conrad Pace, Operations Manager Inġ. Fleur Delezio and Probes Head of Department Inġ. Lawrence Luke Chetcuti welcomed Chamber President Dr Inġ. Bonnie Attard and Treasurer Inġ. Maurizio Cappello for tour of the company’s facilities.

The Malta operation at ProMinent supports the Group’s global portfolio by manufacturing high‑quality electronic components, probes and assemblies that are integrated into ProMinent’s industrial fluid‑control solutions. The Maltese facility focuses on precision manufacturing, quality assurance, and the continuous improvement of processes that support ProMinent’s international customers across sectors such as water treatment, industrial processing, environmental management, and chemical handling.

The Malta site also reflects the ProMinent Group’s long‑term investment in European manufacturing excellence. During the visit, the Chamber delegation discussed the recruitment of specialised personnel as well as the challenges of handling complex materials especially with the introduction of automated systems for handling glass‑based materials.
