Ryan Grixti is a seasoned Solutions Architect with an extensive background in engineering, data analytics, and technology management. He currently serves as a Senior Solutions Architect at Epic Malta, a position he has held since November 2021. In this role, Ryan is responsible for transforming business requirements into technical solutions, overseeing key digital transformation projects, managing stakeholder negotiations and ensuring seamless project commissioning into operations. Additionally, Ryan plays a crucial role as an employee representative for technology teams.

Previously, Ryan worked as a Marketing Insights Specialist at Foster Clark Products Ltd, where he managed consumer market insights, negotiated with major research firms, and provided data-driven insights across key markets, including Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. His technical expertise enabled him to forecast trends and model new market opportunities.

Ryan’s career began at STMicroelectronics, where he spent over seven years in various roles, including Manufacturing AI and Data Analytics Manager. In this capacity, he led projects focused on cost reduction, quality improvement, and deploying cutting-edge technologies like IoT and machine learning for predictive maintenance. His previous role as Product Engineering Team Lead saw him working with major clients like Samsung, Apple, and Google, specializing in MEMS sensor testing and data-driven process improvements.

Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Microelectronics and Microsystems from the University of Malta, where he designed a MEMS microphone sensor and presented his research at international conferences. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Computer Engineering from the same institution, with a focus on communication systems and computerized hardware.

In 2017, Ryan was awarded an Engineering Warrant by the Inġiniera Board, under the auspices of the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, officially recognizing his status as a licensed Inġinier in Malta.

Ryan is entrusted with the role of International Affairs Secretary. As part of his role, Ryan chairs Inġiniera Malta Committee (joint committee between KtP and CoE) which represents Malta in the Engineers Europe federation. Previously, he has also served as the Policy Affairs Secretary for the Chamber of Engineers.
