Inġiniera Malta attends FEANI Annual Business Meetings 2022 in Berlin

Inġiniera Malta actively participated in the FEANI Annual Business Meetings (ABM), 5-6 May 2022, in Berlin. The 2 day event was hosted by the German Association of Technical and Scientific Societies (DVT), the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE).
The National Members were all saddened and recognise the dreadful situation in Ukraine, and the FEANI Annual Business Meetings was an opportunity to amplify the importance of our network in expressing and demonstrating support to each other, and in meeting again after two years of COVID-19 crisis.
On day 1, the National Members Forum was held, and the Chamber of Engineers highlighted the work being done in Malta including policies, campaigns, and effort carried out in the last two years. On day 2, the General Assembly was held where several items where considered, including financial matters, network issues, such as the situation in Ukraine, FEANI’s strategic plan for 2023-2026 and the Engineers 4 Europe project.
Inġiniera Malta was represented at the FEANI ABM 2022 by Inġ. Malcolm Zammit and Inġ. Michelle Cortis on behalf of the Chamber of Engineers and Perit Jeanette Muñoz Abela who joined remotely on behalf of Kamra tal-Periti.
