On the 15th of March 2023, the Chamber of Engineers (CoE) signed a corporate sponsorship agreement with Alberta Group at the Alberta Premises in Central Business District.

Through this agreement, the parties will co-organise several professional development opportunities for CoE members and educational opportunities for the technical community and the public alike.

The signing of the agreement took place between Inġ. Malcolm Zammit, President of the Chamber of Engineers and Mr Angelos Mais, Group Marketing Manager at Alberta Group.

Fast approaching its half centenarian of operations, Alberta began its legacy with a small operation, providing fire and safety solutions to the public. In just under 50 years the organisation has grown from strength to strength and has now expanded internationally, servicing some of the largest brands, working on the biggest events and delivering massive projects around the world.

The CoE is a voluntary organisation representing Engineers in Malta and caters for the safeguarding and advancement of the engineering profession. The CoE provides a voice to engineers through various representations and is an affiliated member of Engineers Europe (previously known as FEANI). The CoE works towards the continuing development of its members and the profession through various initiatives including networking, training, events, and other professional development opportunities.
