Chamber of Engineers sign Corporate Sponsorship Agreement with Methode Electronics Malta

On 23rd January 2024, the Chamber of Engineers (CoE) signed a corporate sponsorship agreement with Methode Electronics Malta which will see both sides collaborating more closely in the field of engineering and the promotion of engineering careers within the manufacturing sector in Malta.  

The Chamber recognizes the efforts of Methode to engineering excellence in the manufacturing sector. Methode Electronics is a leading global supplier of custom-engineered solutions and designs,. Methode Electronics engineers and produces mechatronic products for Original Equipment Manufacturers utilizing a broad range of technologies for User Interface, LED lighting system, power distribution and sensor applications. Methode solutions are found in transportation (including automotive, commercial vehicle, e-bike, aerospace, bus and rail), cloud computing infrastructure, construction equipment, consumer appliance, and medical devices.  

This sponsorship agreement is further enhancing the Chamber’s commitment to advancing the engineering profession while building stronger links with the manufacturing sector which is a critical part of the economy and a cradle of rewarding careers and various job opportunities. 

Through this new collaboration, both Methode Electronics Malta and the Chamber of Engineers will seek to continue nurturing engineering talent who will sustain the manufacturing sector for the years to come. 

Signing the agreement for the CoE was Secretary General Dr Inġ. Bonnie Attard and for Methode Electronics Malta Ltd., Vice President, Human Resources, EMEA- Jose Luis Arenas accompanied by: VP EMEA Stephen Rizzo, General Manager Hetronic Peter Bonavia and HR Manager for Malta Anna Urbanska.
