On Friday 15th November, the active outreach of the Chamber of Engineers towards the industry continued with a visit to Foster Clark Products Ltd at their facilities in San Ġwann. The Chamber’s delegation was kindly hosted by Inġ. Paul Demanuele – Operations Director and Inġ. Carl Degiorgio – Head of Engineering. The Chamber was represented by Inġ. Malcolm Zammit – President, Inġ. Ryan Grixti – Policy Affairs Secretary and Mr Ryan Grech – Student Representative.

Foster Clark Products Ltd. gave an overview of their manufacturing operations during a factory tour and explained the engineering projects in the context of continuous improvement. Foster Clark Products also highlighted their vision in engaging new engineering talent and in fostering a well-experienced talent pipeline for the coming years.

The Chamber of Engineers highlighted its vision to be closer to industry players with a strong base of engineers and the importance of membership of such engineers within Chamber to ensure a stronger profession and more engaged members of the community. Areas for future collaboration between the two organisations were also highlighted and discussed.
