On 6th January 2025, the Chamber of Engineers (CoE) signed a corporate sponsorship agreement with Panta Group which will see both sides collaborating to further advance engineering knowledge with respect to building services, HVAC systems, vertical transportation systems and  tooling solutions as part of a holistic project delivery.

Panta is a three-generation strong, privately owned family business which is headquartered in Msida. For over 60 years, Panta has brought high-quality products and innovative technologies to the Maltese and overseas markets. Panta upholds strong economic, social and environmental values and has garnered a reputation for reliability, exceptional service and robust engineering solutions.

The company was founded as Panta Lesco Ltd in 1960 by the late Bartholomew Attard. In December 2009, the founder of Panta was posthumously awarded the esteemed Lifetime Achievement Award by the CoE at the Malta Engineering Excellence Awards 2009. This award was bestowed in recognition of his contribution to the economy and society by introducing state-of-the-art products and technology, as well as for employing a significant number of engineers in Malta.

This collaboration further strengthens the Chamber’s dedication to advancing the engineering profession and strives to create valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange, educational initiatives, and continuous professional development within the engineering community.
