Bank of Valletta and Chamber of Engineers Renew Collaboration to Strengthen Engineering Community

Bank of Valletta and the Chamber of Engineers have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the engineering profession by renewing their collaboration. This partnership aims to facilitate access to financial education for the members of the Chamber and its network, reinforcing the importance of engineering in Malta’s economic and technological landscape.

Chamber President Dr Inġ. Bonnie Attard,President and Vice President Inġ. David Scicluna Giusti met with Kenneth Micallef, Head, Business Generation and Stefan Abela, Manager Corporate Social Responsibility at Bank of Valletta to discuss further potential avenues of collaboration.

Through this renewed agreement, BOV will continue to support the Chamber’s activities, including the Annual Best Final Year Project Awards at the University of Malta and also at MCAST, which recognize outstanding engineering students and assist them in furthering their studies. The collaboration also aligns with BOV’s commitment to Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) practices, offering financial solutions to businesses seeking to improve energy efficiency.

This collaboration also assists Chamber members in establishing their careers, providing seasoned professionals with tools for investment and business development or engineering start-ups with financial options to support projects for the benefit of the community at large. BOV’s ongoing commitment to supporting key professions, such as engineering, underpins its role in driving Malta’s development and fostering a more innovative, resilient economy.
