Building on a successful three-year collaboration, the Chamber of Engineers is pleased to announce the extension of its collaboration agreement with Alberta Group for a further three years, further strengthening cooperation between the two parties.
Fast approaching its half centenary of operations, Alberta began its legacy with a small operation providing fire and safety solutions to the public. In just under 50 years, the organisation has grown from strength to strength and now operates internationally, servicing some of the largest brands, working on major events, and delivering large-scale projects around the world.
As Malta’s largest fire and security firm, Alberta Fire & Security remains dedicated to delivering excellence to every customer, whether personal, corporate, or governmental. Over the years, the Group has expanded far beyond its fire and security origins, establishing PT Matic in environmental and waste management, and ISTC as a leading international safety training institution; each strengthening Alberta’s commitment to safer, cleaner, and more resilient communities.
Alberta Group continues to uphold the principle that lies at the heart of the engineering profession: ensuring public health and safety. This guiding principle forms part of its wider purpose and motto: Driven by people, powered by technology, committed to protecting what matters most; people, properties and our planet.
Through this renewed partnership, the Chamber and Alberta will support the organisation and dissemination of technical seminars and training sessions dedicated to fire prevention and safety, ensuring that members of the engineering profession remain at the forefront of best practices in the fire engineering field. In addition, the agreement will facilitate the dissemination of commercial services related to fire engineering, providing valuable insights into the latest technologies, solutions, and industry standards.
The extended collaboration will also see Alberta Group’s active involvement in the Chamber’s student outreach initiative, Engineer Your Career Goes Live!, which this year celebrated its 4th edition, connecting students, families, and professionals with career opportunities in engineering. Alberta’s participation will highlight the importance of fire safety and engineering services within the broader STEM landscape, inspiring the next generation of engineers to embrace careers that safeguard communities and critical infrastructure.
By extending this sponsorship agreement, Alberta Group reaffirms its support for the Chamber of Engineers and its mission to promote professional development, technical excellence, and community engagement. Together, the Chamber and Alberta will continue providing engineers and the wider public, with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to a safer and more resilient society.
