The Chamber of Engineers is pleased to announce a unique and immersive opportunity for its members to explore the engineering systems and operations within one of Malta’s most essential yet rarely seen facilities — the Public Abattoir. This exclusive visit offers a rare chance to experience first-hand the complex engineering within this critical national service.

Tour of the Abattoir
These guided sessions showcase the engineering behind the the facility’s operations within a clean and controlled environment. Participants will gain behind-the-scenes insight into the abattoir’s processes, while also enjoying the opportunity to network during a post-tour reception featuring traditional slaughterhouse fare, including mazzit.
