The Chamber of Engineers (CoE) has renewed its corporate sponsorship agreement with Smart Effects, further strengthening a partnership that supports the advancement of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) knowledge within the engineering community. The agreement was formally extended on 16 June 2026, reaffirming both organisations’ commitment to promoting technical excellence and industry development in Malta.
Smart Effects, founded in 2017, has established itself as one of Malta’s foremost HVAC specialists. The company delivers end-to-end solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial settings, offering system design, installation, mechanical and electrical works, and comprehensive after-sales support. Through collaborations with leading international brands, including AUX, LG, Warmup, Blauberg, Thermocold, Climacs and Polar Air, Smart Effects brings high-performance, energy-efficient technologies to the local market. Its operations combine technical expertise with a strong focus on sustainability, customer service, and long-term system efficiency.
The renewed agreement paves the way for continued collaboration between the CoE and Smart Effects, with a focus on initiatives that enhance the professional growth of engineers working in HVAC and related fields. Planned areas of cooperation include technical knowledge-sharing, educational activities, exposure to emerging technologies, and opportunities for engineers to engage directly with industry developments.
This partnership forms part of the Chamber’s broader mission to support the engineering profession through meaningful industry engagement and continuous professional development. By working closely with Smart Effects, the CoE aims to strengthen the link between engineering practice and the evolving needs of Malta’s built environment.
The Chamber of Engineers looks forward to building on this collaboration and delivering initiatives that benefit both the engineering community and the wider public.
